Earth-12101
Earth-12101 is a universe in which Deadpool's psyche was twisted by Psycho Man and he went on a psychotic rampage, violently murdering the world's foremost heroes and villains.
History
Institutionalized
In 2012, the X-Men committed Deadpool to Ravenscroft Asylum under the care of Dr. Benjamin Brighton, whom it was said had pioneered various "radical" treatments designed to pacify violent patients. Wolverine was adamant that committing Deadpool posed a risk, but Professor X would have none of it. In truth, Brighton was a front for the tiny but monstrous Psycho-Man, who sought to psychologically engineer the planet's most powerful villains into his loyal soldiers to conquer the world. He used a digital "control box" to make Deadpool a more efficient killer, targeting his "inability to focus" and "incessant jabbering." The process shattered Deadpool's psyche, leaving him ruthlessly violent and psychotic. Deadpool became intensely aware of his existence as a comic-book character and of the futile, cyclical lives those around him lead: he would free them from the "endless cycle of continuity" and "pain" by ending their lives for good. He disabled Psycho Man's mechanical humanoid suit, pulled him out from within, and bashed him repeatedly against his glass desk, killing him. Deadpool regained his gear from lockup and poured gasoline throughout the asylum, lighting it aflame and killing the many inmates inside.
He went to the Baxter Building and killed the Fantastic Four one by one, pulling Mr. Fantastic's elastic body to its limits and slicing the Human Torch's throat. Invisible Woman confronted Deadpool, bursting his head from within with a forcefield, but when she turned away, Deadpool's seemingly fatal injury healed, and he stabbed her from behind. How Deadpool killed the fourth member of the team, the Thing, is unclear. Mr. Fantastic managed to get his children through a portal to the Negative Zone to safety, but Deadpool destroyed the portal, trapping them there. With his metavision, Deadpool saw a Watcher observing and narrating the horrific events unfolding, and tased him with a special device stolen from Mr. Fantastic's laboratory. Deadpool decapitated him and teased the Watcher's audience that they would want to see what happened next.[1]
The Avengers
Deadpool's rampage escalated at a terrifying rate, as he soon killed Doctor Doom, Ghost Rider, Howard the Duck, Black Panther, Tigra, Iron Fist, and some of the X-Men, including Beast. He fought Spider-Man in the streets of New York, unceremoniously shooting his head off. Deadpool's usual inner monologue(s) had become overtaken by a more violent and sadistic voice, who encouraged him to forego spectacle and pageantry for raw violence. Deadpool resisted, and decided to set his sights on a "big" target: the Avengers. He killed Hank Pym and stole a number of Pym Particles, placing a vast amount of explosives (and himself) on their meeting table. As the Avengers met,[note 1] Deadpool regrew using Pym's Ant-Man helmet and detonated the ordinance, causing a massive explosion that killed nearly all of them—only Luke Cage and Thor survived, while Wolverine was blown to bits but would eventually recover. Deadpool had also snuck some tiny bombs into Cage's coffee supply, and detonated them now, killing him from inside. Thor threw Mjölnir at Deadpool, but as the hammer returned to him, Deadpool used the Pym Particles to increase its size, crushing Thor to death as it struck him. As Deadpool left the wreckage, he was attacked by the Hulk, who tore him limb from limb. With Deadpool seemingly killed, Hulk retreated to a nearby cave to become Bruce Banner, rest, and mourn his friends. Deadpool recovered and decapitated Banner in his sleep. Meanwhile, a group of loved ones of the victims, including May Parker, Rick Jones, and Alicia Masters, collected among them a mass of wealth to hire the Taskmaster to study, track, and kill Deadpool.[2]
The X-Men
Deadpool's massacre continued, killing Doctor Strange, Wong, Venom, Multiple Man, Green Goblin, and the Power Pack. He then kidnapped Professor X to lure the other X-Men to an abandoned warehouse. He also kidnapped Arcade to help him construct sick devices of death and torture. Cyclops, Pixie, Emma Frost, and Cannonball arrived: Deadpool threw a strange, viscous substance onto Cyclops's head that quickly calcified. The panicked Cyclops used his eye blast, creating an explosion inside the object that instantly killed him and his allies. Gambit, Rogue, and Colossus soon fell victim to an electrical trap. Professor X tried to shut down Deadpool's mind, but the gravity of Deadpool's existential awareness was too great, and Xavier was stricken with brain death. Meanwhile, Magneto perished in a room of gelatinous acid, while Kitty Pryde was trapped in a complex box made of mirrors. Daken and X-23 were strung up in a room designed to douse them with flame whenever their healing factor began to act up, slowly bringing them closer and closer to true death. Wolverine returned and fought Deadpool, who used a carbonadium blade in an effort to counteract Wolverine's own healing factor. Deadpool decapitated him, acknowledging that he would probably still return. Meanwhile, Taskmaster investigated Deadpool's murders of Doctor Strange and Wong, and found that he had ominously marked a book concerning the Nexus of All Realities.[3]
Taskmaster
As the fabric of society deteriorated amid Deadpool's killing spree, heroes and villains alike engaged in mass riots, and even a suicide pact. Deadpool kidnapped the Puppet Master and used him to make several special puppets that allowed Deadpool to easily kill cosmic entities like Galactus, the Silver Surfer, Nova, and Thanos. He also used Puppet Master as bait, letting him get killed by the Punisher in a valiant attempt to kill Deadpool. Deadpool returned the favor, shooting Frank Castle in the head. The Taskmaster tracked Deadpool to a murky swamp, and the two fought. Taskmaster's uniquely potent ability to understand his foe allowed him to hear Deadpool's inner voice and comprehend the fourth wall, filling him with an unspeakable dread. The reason for Deadpool luring Taskmaster into the swamp became clear, as Man-Thing arrived and burned Taskmaster's head to a crisp. Man-Thing submitted to Deadpool's cause and allowed him passage to the Nexus of All Realities. Deadpool had hoped he could simply destroy all of existence from one central point, but it would be nowhere near that simple. Instead, he emerged in a conference room in Earth-41210, where creative minds led by Cullen Bunn were brainstorming the comic book in which Deadpool was now appearing. As he prepared to kill the creatives, Deadpool warned the reader that he would come for them too soon enough.[4]
