Silver Surfer
The Silver Surfer is a mysterious cosmic being who serves as the Herald of Galactus. Appropriately, his entire body is a shining, chrome color, and he rides a similar-looking board through space. As a Herald of Galactus, he has been bestowed with the Power Cosmic.
Biography
Arrival on Earth
While scouting for planets for Galactus to consume, the Silver Surfer found Earth, a planet with energy and resources enough to make it worth Galactus's attention. Fearing for the planet's fate, Uatu the Watcher surrounded Earth with assorted space debris to act as a sort of disguise, but the Surfer saw through it and landed there. By this point, Uatu had notified the Fantastic Four of the Surfer's coming and what it meant. He was immediately confronted by the Fantastic Four, but disregarded them and signaled for Galactus.[1]
