Bolivar Trask (Earth-92131)

Dr. Bolivar Trask is an American scientist and chief engineer on the Sentinel program for the Mutant Control Agency (MCA) led by Henry Gyrich. The Sentinels were released in late 1992, but there were immediately problems. After a Sentinel attacked a young mutant named Jubilee, the mysterious heroic mutants known as the X-Men infiltrated the MCA's headquarters and destroyed their mutant registration records. The President of the United States ordered the Sentinel program to be shut down after this attack made national news and resulted in increased public sympathy for mutants. The X-Men soon arrived at the Sentinel factory in Detroit and destroyed them anyway, forcing Trask and Gyrich to flee. Despite this setback, Gyrich seemed intent on continuing the MCA's mission.
