The United States of America is a country in North America and home to many superheroes and villains. Its citizens pride themselves on the tenets of liberty, justice, and democracy. The U.S. is embroiled in a Cold War with the Soviet Union, also known as Russia, a communist nation whose villains are regularly at odds with American heroes. Perhaps the most notable city in the United States is New York, home to the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, and others. Versions of the United States exist in nearly every known universe.
