Tom Denver

Tom Denver was an American man and best friend of John Hargate. When Hargate came into possession of the mind-influencing Blooded Ruby of Chung, Denver was overcome with covetousness. He killed Hargate, took the ruby, and fled to France to join the French Foreign Legion and attain immunity. The magician/detective Dakor followed Denver there in an attempt to bring him to justice, but the two were captured by Tuareg raiders. Dakor managed to escape with the ruby, but Denver was killed by the Tuaregs.
