Roger Dooley (Earth-199999)
Roger Dooley is an American man and the chief of the Strategic Scientific Reserve branch in New York City.
Biography
By April 1946, Howard Stark had been accused of selling off dangerous inventions of his to foreign entities, creating several significant risks on the black market. Stark denied these allegations in a congressional hearing, but remained a target nonetheless. Dooley assigned Jack Thompson to track down Stark and isolate the distribution of his inventions as much as possible. Thompson traced one of Stark's creations, the formula for nitramene, to a buyer by the name of Spider Raymond, a high-end club owner. Thompson returned to Dooley and informed him that Raymond had been killed with no sign of nitramene in sight. One of Raymond's bouncers said a blonde woman had knocked him out, and a photographer claimed to have gotten a picture of her—Thompson took his camera, but the photos had not been developed. Before they could pursue this line of inquiry, Dooley learned of a catastrophic explosion at a nearby Roxxon refinery, and he, Thompson, and Daniel Sousa went to investigate.[1]
