Spider Raymond

Spider Raymond, birth name unknown, was a black-market criminal and the proprietor of the New York club La Martinique in Earth-199999. In early 1946, various secret inventions belonging to Howard Stark were stolen and doled out on the black market. Raymond was sold a small bomb made of nitramene by Leet Brannis, capable of creating an explosion with a 500-yard radius. Raymond arranged to sell it to someone, but the Strategic Scientific Reserve caught wind of his plans first. In particular, Peggy Carter employed her feminine wiles to get up to his office and knock him out with her sleep-inducing lipstick and make off with the bomb. Raymond soon came to and was distraught at the bomb's disappearance. His potential buyer came up to his office shortly after and, finding that the deal had gone sour, shot and killed Raymond in cold blood.
