Jack Thompson

Jack Thompson is an American man and an agent with the Strategic Scientific Reserve in Earth-199999. He is an ambitious young agent and World War II veteran who is frequently at odds with colleague Peggy Carter.

Biography

In April 1946, Thompson investigated the case against Howard Stark: some inventions belonging to Stark had shown up on the black market, leading to accusations that he had sold his creations to foreign states—in truth, the inventions had been stolen, but Stark would have a hard time explaining this to Congress. Thompson tracked down one of Stark's creations, the formula for molecular nitramene: some nitramene had been sold to a club owner in town named Spider Raymond. Thompson and a pair of other agents arrived at the club and barged into Raymond's office, only to find him dead. They also found an unconscious bouncer in the room who said that a beautiful blonde woman had knocked him out. Thompson also spoke with a photographer in the club who claimed to have taken a photo of the woman. He took in the camera as evidence to Chief Roger Dooley, but before the two could pursue that line any further, they learned of a derelict Roxxon oil refinery exploding nearby and went to investigate along with Daniel Sousa.
