Harry Osborn is an American teenage boy and the son of magnate Norman Osborn. He is also friends with Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson, and son of the deceased Martha Osborn.

Biography

In the year 2000, Harry Osborn was a high-school student in Queens, New York, and friends with straight-A student Peter Parker. The two weren't especially close despite their relationship, as Osborn often associated with the boys who bullied Parker and couldn't relate to his bookishness. His relationship with his father was also rocky, as Norman viewed Harry as more of an obligation than a son.[1] Norman ordered his employees to keep Harry out of the laboratory when he injected himself with Oz, but Harry witnessed it nonetheless.[2] Harry survived the ensuing explosion and returned safely home, but Norman became the monstrous Green Goblin. He attacked the Osborns' home at night, causing a massive fire and killing his wife Martha. Harry was again a witness, and saw his father fly away from the scene.[3] When Green Goblin attacked the high school, Harry felt liable for the damages, believing himself to be the Goblin's intended target. Traumatized by the death of his mother and transformation of his father, Harry was taken into protective police custody[4] before apparently moving to Colorado to live with his uncle.[5]
