Dynamic Man
Dynamic Man, also known as Curt Cowan, is an android created by Professor Goettler in the United States to fight for justice for humanity. He possesses X-ray vision, ultra intelligence and strength, the ability to shapeshift, and a personal magnetic field that allows him to fly.
Biography
Dynamic Man was created in a laboratory by Professor Goettler, a brilliant but ostracized scientist, to help humanity. Goettler died of excitement just as Dynamic Man was "born," but programmed him well enough to know his mission in life at birth. Dynamic Man decided to join the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), adopting the alias Curt Cowan and acing the entrance exams. His first assignment as an FBI agent was to respond to a farmer's insistence that a man-made drought was affecting his crops. Investigating, Dynamic Man found a mountain near the man's farm that housed henchmen of Daniel Bascom, who was intending to use special machines to dry out farmers' lands and buy them for cheap to "control the agricultural produce of the United States." Dynamic Man traveled to Bascom's island home, but was sprayed with lantholum, a rare element that temporarily paralyzed him. They threw him into a room filled with liquid nitrogen and a ceiling that was lowering to crush him, but Dynamic Man's extraordinary strength allowed him to escape. Dynamic Man followed Bascom, who was traveling by plane to the country of Richonia for a business deal. Dynamic Man stopped the deal and brought Bascom to justice.[1]
Dynamic Man soon learned of a ring of saboteurs bent on destroying critical infrastructure. After they blew up a large dam, Dynamic Man traced their plans to a railroad track and stopped the attack. He got one of the men to take them to their leader, Dr. Vee; however, a microphone in the car he was driven in alerted Vee to Dynamic Man's arrival. Dynamic Man walked into a trap, and was imprisoned in a room with spiked walls closing in on him. Much like his last adventure however, he simply crashed through the ceiling to escape. When he emerged, Vee and his men had left the hideout, and Dynamic Man discovered plans to attack a ship docked nearby. He reached the ship in time to thwart another attack, this time incapacitating Vee and his men and bringing them to justice.[2] Some time later, Dynamic Man uncovered and thwarted a plot by Willard Thomas, a banker under the guise of "The Hood," to kill off his fellow bankers and inherit their trust fund for himself.[3] He then went on to stop a criminal effort to use a magnetic dirigible to steal vast quantities of gold.[4]
