Teen Brigade

The Teen Brigade is a loosely defined group of teenage boys across the United States who communicate via ham radio and do whatever is needed of them, usually assisting superheroes. It was founded by Rick Jones and his friends in 1963 as a way of assisting the Hulk.^[1] Later that year, the Teen Brigade were instrumental in the formation of the Avengers, inadvertently contacting a series of superheroes in an attempt to find the Hulk.^[2]
