Sigurd

Sigurd is an Asgardian who in ancient times held dominion over a desolate forest. He was legendary for a secret power, which was that, in battle, he gained strength every time he fell to the ground. After returning to Asgard from a mission for Odin, the trio of Thor, Loki, and Balder unwittingly went through Sigurd's forest, and the aggressive Sigurd challenged Thor to combat. Not knowing Sigurd's power, Thor repeatedly knocked him to the ground and grew increasingly confused. Baldur suddenly remembered what he had heard of Sigurd's power, and Thor used this information and his hammer Mjölnir to send Sigurd flying into space onto a passing asteroid. Assuming Sigurd survived this encounter, his fate since then is unknown.
