San Gusto is a country in South America. Normally democratic thanks to encouragement from the United States government, in 1963 it was embroiled in a civil war courtesy of communist rebels. This rebellion was in fact manufactured by the Hate-Monger and his hate ray, and was thus stopped upon his defeat by the Fantastic Four and Nick Fury late in the year.[1]
