Mr. Doll
Mr. Doll, born Nathan Dolly, is an American villain. He is known for manipulating a small clay figure to resemble a target and inflict pain on them.
Biography
By 1963, Nathan Dolly had stolen a magial clay figurine from a witch doctor in Africa. Using the figure, Dolly—dubbing himself Mr. Doll—could inflict pain on whomever he made it resemble, like a malleable voodoo doll. He began using the doll as a weapon against wealthy American businessmen, painfully extorting them into signing over their fortunes. Late in the year, his third target in this endeavor was steel manufacturer Charleton Carter. The hero Iron Man arrived on the scene and attempted to stop Mr. Doll, but was unprepared for his powers, and was easily defeated. Carter signed over his business with little resistance. Doll next set his sights on Tony Stark: upon arriving at Stark's plant, he was again confronted by Iron Man (secretly Stark himself), wearing a new and more flexible suit. Iron Man used a special laser to alter Doll's figure from afar to resemble Doll himself, and Doll panickedly dropped the figure, knocking himself unconscious and allowing the police to take him away.[1]
