Mary Storm

Mary Storm was an American woman, the wife of Dr. Franklin Storm, and the mother of Sue and Johnny Storm. While driving to a dinner in Franklin's honor, the Storms' car's tire blew out, and Mary was critically injured in the resulting crash. Franklin himself operated on her, but she tragically died. Franklin went into a long downward spiral of guilt and anguish, while Sue and Johnny grew up to be half of the standard-setting superhero team, the Fantastic Four.
