Jane Framan

Jane Framan is an American scholar working for the Smithsonian Institute. In 1939, she was tasked with finding the Temple of Alano, the map to which was allegedly cursed. Arriving in Hong Kong on her first step to the temple, Framan was quickly accosted by Lelong, who disguised himself as a friendly man named Sumner. Lelong had been lying in wait for the next holder of the map, and in fact had constructed the story of it being cursed in the first place. The Angel was able to stop and apprehend Lelong, allowing Framan to continue on her quest. The ultimate result of Jane's journey is unknown.
