Bardak

Bardak was an African ape in the Belgian Congo. Shortly after David Rand's christening as Ka-Zar, Bardak happened upon the abandoned camp of Paul de Kraft, where he found a hand mirror, the reflectiveness of which appealed to him. Ka-Zar arrived and made a claim to the mirror, overpowering Bardak and mercifully sparing him. Bardak later went to the cave of Zar and Sha, hoping to find the mirror, but to no avail. Sha returned to the cave with her cubs, and Bardak impulsively abducted one of them, Zoro, bringing it to the top of a tall tree. Ka-Zar returned and saved Zoro, stabbing Bardak in the chest and leaving him to fall to his death.
