Xantha

The Xantha are a race of short humanoid beings with bulbous heads, originally from the planet Xanth. They possess superior intelligence and highly advanced technology, but a surprising distaste for space travel. In 1962, Xanth was threatened by an incoming asteroid, and a Xantha named Kurrgo enlisted the Fantastic Four in saving his people. Mr. Fantastic managed to shrink the planet's sizeable population to fit them onto a single spaceship—Kurrgo tried to take advantage of the situation to become ruler of the Xantha in their new home, but his greed caused him to fall behind and apparently perish as Xantha was destroyed.
