Xanth

Xanth, also known as Planet X, was a planet lightyears away from Earth, inhabited by a race of sentient beings led by Kurrgo. Its inhabitants were a short, humanoid race with bulbous heads, the name of whom is unknown. The planet's population of five billion escaped shortly before its destruction by an asteroid, fitting onto a single spaceship thanks to a shrinking gas developed by Mr. Fantastic. The lone exception to this was Kurrgo, who failed to make it to the ship in time because of his insistence in carrying a large vial that he believed to contain an antidote to the shrinking gas.
