The Triskelion was the headquarters of S.H.I.E.L.D. for a brief period in modern times. A large, eyecatching building in Washington, D.C., the Triskelion also went deep underground, where the helicarriers central to Project Insight were constructed. It was destroyed in 2014 during the climactic conflict that brought an end to the existence of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Hydra on the world stage.[1]
