Thomas Gideon is an American boy and the son of former billionaire financier Gregory Gideon. Thomas is a fan of comic books, particularly of the Fantastic Four. In 1965, Thomas proved instrumental in foiling his father's plot to defeat the Four, jumping in the way of Gregory's time machine and forcing him to see the error of his ways. Distraught over what he'd nearly done, Gregory renounced his wealth and vowed to live modestly with his wife and son.[1]
