Sorcerer
The Sorcerer, born Dorian Murdstone, is an American villain. A cantankerous old man living in Glenville, New York, the Sorcerer was considered an eccentric but generally harmless miser known for his interest in black magic. In 1963 however, Sorcerer happened upon Pandora's Box, the legendary Greek artifact that contained spirits known as imps, each of which embodied a different "evil that flesh is heir to." Sorcerer used the Box to rob a great many valuable items across Glenville, but was stopped by the Human Torch. Sorcerer inadvertently afflicted himself with the Box's imp of fear, paralyzing himself with terror and allowing for his easy capture. Torch welded the Box shut and disposed of it for good.[1]
It is unknown to what extent Sorcerer actually practiced the magic he so extolled.
