Rodriguez, full name unknown, was the Vice President of the United States in 2012 in Earth-199999, serving under President Matthew Ellis. Rodriguez aligned himself with the villainous Aldrich Killian in his plot to assassinate President Ellis and profit off of an enlivened war on terror. Rodriguez's stake in the plan was regrowing his daughter's amputated leg through Killian's Extremis formula. Killian's plan was thwarted by Iron Man and others, and Rodriguez was arrested for his deeds.[1]
