Neptune

Neptune was the ruler of Atlantis in ancient times. He has since come to be regarded by Atlanteans with unmatched reverence, to the point of deification. He wielded a large, bejeweled trident, which he hid before his death: in the event that a "pretender" should become ruler of Atlantis, a deserving ruler could seek out the trident and use it to claim the throne instead. Neptune left behind a number of clues as to the trident's location, each protected by deadly trials, to keep its secret sacred.
