Kallusian

The Kallusians, also known as the Kallu, are a race of pale humanoid creatures from the planet Kallu. After many years of violent warfare with another species, the Kallusians fled their home planet and took refuge deep under the ice of the North Pole on Earth. They could not breathe the air on Earth, and some of them perished as their own supply of air ran short. Luckily, they happened upon scientist Hjarmal Svenson on an expedition, who agreed to help them develop a suitable biosphere in their underground city, as well as masks that would filter the Earth air to be breathable. In 1965, the Kallusians' enemies found them on Earth, forcing them back into space to continue the war.
