Jakob Nystrom

Jakob Nystrom is a Norwegian man in Earth-199999 and the former leader of a Norse paganist hate group devoted to claiming what he and his followers believed to be their inheritance of the Norse gods' legacy. Along with his girlfriend Petra Larsen, in late 2013 Nystrom attempted to assemble the three broken pieces of the Berserker Staff, which had been left on Earth about a millennium prior. Nystrom and Larsen succeeded in gathering the pieces in Norway and Spain; they also acquired the final piece in Ireland, but were immediately challenged by a group of agents from S.H.I.E.L.D. Skilled agents Grant Ward and Melinda May claimed the pieces and defeated Nystrom and his followers, reassembling and confiscating the Staff in the process.
