Hardol is a renowned Asgardian healer who lives a solitary, pastoral life far outside the city of Asgard. In late 1964, Balder came to him to request a healing potion for the near-dead mortal Jane Foster, love interest of Thor. Hardol obliged, and the potion worked perfectly, saving her life. Balder went to great and perilous lengths to reach Hardol, suggesting that his talent as a healer was truly singular.[1]
