Comrade X is a Soviet spy. She was tasked by the U.S.S.R. to learn the secret behind Ant-Man's powers so that the Soviet Union could harness it for themselves. To that end, she went to the United States and posed as a civilian, warning Ant-Man of the coming Comrade X, whom she claimed was male. In doing so, she lured him into a trap that initially succeeded, but Ant-Man escaped and brought her to justice with the help of his ants. She is now in American custody.[1]
