The Broker is a humanoid merchant on Xandar. In 2014, Star-Lord attempted to sell him the Orb—he was initially eager to make the purchase, but upon learning that Ronan the Accuser was after it, adamantly refused it. Later, Yondu Udonta confronted the Broker and forced out of him information on Star-Lord's whereabouts.[1]
