Abwama

Abwama was a Congolese tribal chief known for his deviousness and selfishness. In 1940, he was approached by white man Lester Drake to provide him with slaves in exchange for a share of the gold he would be mining there. Abwama accepted, conquering nearby tribes and taking them as slaves. But this plan was thwarted by Ka-Zar, who freed Drake and Abwama's captive humans and elephants. The elephants stampeded upon their release, killing both of their captors.
