Thug Thatcher

Thug Thatcher is an organized-crime leader in New York City, known for attempting to "muscle in on the steel industry" by selling substandard steel. In an attempted assassination, Thatcher was shot in the shoulder by rival gang members. His henchmen abducted Don Blake and Jane Foster to give him medical attention; when Blake finished patching him up, Thatcher called his henchmen on him, seeing him as a liability. However, Blake seemingly disappeared, transforming out of view of the mobsters into Thor. Thor easily defeated Thatcher's henchmen while Thug and his girlfriend Ruby escaped. Thatcher deduced a connection between Don Blake and Thor, and used this assumption to his advantage, bringing the bound Jane Foster back to Blake's office. Sure enough, Thor returned, saving Foster and returning Thatcher to custody.
