Santiago Chavez y Rivera

Santiago Chavez y Rivera,[1] also known as the Executioner, was the leader of the communist sect of San Diablo during their civil war with the democrats. He was so named because of his penchant for executing enemies by firing squad. When a group of American doctors arrived to give medical aid to the wartorn nation, Executioner captured Don Blake and Jane Foster. Shortly before Blake's execution, Blake transformed into Thor and assisted the San Diablan democratic army in defeating the communists. Executioner attempted to flee with his army's reserves of cash and gold, but his betrayed followers gunned him down, killing him.[2]
