Sandu

Sandu is a human psychic who in 1963 was chosen as a kind of representative by Loki, who was imprisoned in Asgard. Loki selected Sandu as his champion to fight his brother Thor, and multiplied his relatively benign mental powers by a thousandfold. Sandu found that he could suddenly levitate and teleport objects, seemingly without limit. After a series of crimes, Sandu was confronted by Thor. Sandu's hubris was his own downfall, as he was able to force Thor's hammer out of his hand, but then tried to lift it himself with telekinesis. He couldn't do so and refused to stop trying, straining his own powers to the point of snapping. His powers were completely lost, leaving him helpless and confused and easy to apprehend.
