Major Richard Uberhart[1] was a German Nazi military official during World War II. Uberhart answered directly to the Red Skull, and he was responsible for capturing and holding Captain America and Bucky in Greymoor Castle. Uberhart also oversaw the experiments of British scientist and defector Cedric Rawlings. The capture of Cap and Bucky didn't go as planned, largely thanks to Cedric's sister Celia Rawlings, who detested his willingness to work with the Nazis. Celia died at the hands of another Nazi soldier, and the distraught Cedric blew up the castle, killing himself, Uberhart, and all others left inside as Cap and Bucky narrowly escaped.[2][3][4]
