Professor Philo Zogolowski,[1] commonly known as Philo Zog, is a scientist born in the 1880s in an unknown location.[2] As an adult, he moved to New York City and constructed the robot Electro to serve humanity and make the world a better place. He also recruited twelve men, including Dick Gardner, tasked with scouring the city for disturbances for Electro to solve. Zog controls Electro remotely through voice commands.[3]
