Ghan

Ghan is a warlike Storm Giant who in ancient times led an assault on Asgard. The defending army led by Thor were more than a match for Ghan, but the treacherous Loki prevented them from dealing the final blow. He transformed Ghan into an eagle, tricking his supposed allies into thinking he had magically escaped. Loki later returned Ghan to his usual form, and Ghan told him that he was in his debt.
