Earth-82802 is a minor divergent universe from Earth-616 in which Spider-Man's uncle was Odin instead of Ben Parker. Odin effortlessly fended off the criminal who killed Ben in Earth-616, and Peter Parker thus never learned the harsh lesson of responsibility. Instead, he remained a vain entertainer and a regular on The Ed Sullivan Show—when that program was canceled in 1971, Peter was left out of work.
