Donald Birch

Donald Birch, also known as the Phantom, is a scientist and former Stark Industries employee. In late 1964, fed up with a lack of attention and respect from Tony Stark, Birch began sabotaging various locations around the plant as a masked villain—he was given the name the "Phantom" by Stark's alter-ego Iron Man in reference to his difficulty to track down and catch. Iron Man did catch the Phantom in the end however, and Birch was taken into custody by the police.
