The Cat Burglar is a professional criminal in New York City. Besides committing the robberies his moniker implies, Cat Burglar also ran a strangely organized group of costumed criminals that ran much more complex and high-reaching heists. In 1965, he unwittingly robbed a safe belonging to J. Jonah Jameson, editor of the Daily Bugle. Jameson offered a $1,000 reward for his capture, and the Cat was pursued by Spider-Man among others. In the end, the Cat's own carelessness led to his capture at the hands of the police.[1]
