K-4
K-4, birth name unknown, is an American military pilot and spy who fought with the Allies in World War II. He also fought in World War I and the Spanish Revolution. He is the leader of the Sky Devils trio of pilots alongside René d'Auvergne and Ronald Wolverstone-Clodd.
Biography
K-4's first known involvement in World War II came in early 1940 when he was tasked with disguising as captured German spy Gunther Hesseman and infiltrating a German munitions base. With minimal complications, K-4 entered the base and detonated it, destroying a great deal of Axis weaponry.[1] Later, he and his Sky Devils partners heard of the Nazis laying mines in the river Thames in the United Kingdom. Ronald Wolverstone-Clodd was able to disguise as a Nazi and learn of their plan to do the same to the Seine in France. The Devils flew K-4 up above the dirigible the Germans were using for this task. K-4 took over the ship and crashed it, escaping by parachute beforehand.[2] The Sky Devils then went on a routine photographing mission, but were ambushed by Nazi planes. Lts. d'Auvergne and Wolverstone-Clodd were shot down, but K-4 was able to rescue them and take down a critical Nazi base in the process.[3]
